“Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

Explore. Learn. Grow.

Connect With Nature.

  • Forest Kindergarten

Sow the seeds of creativity, curiosity and exploration as we venture into the forest and explore the wonders of nature.

Forest Kindergarten is a seasonal Waldorf influenced program designed for children ages 4-6 years old. My heart is full after leading this program for the past 7 years. While I will not be leading this program in the upcoming school year, I am currently editing a curriculum memoire that I hope to share with our community to plant seeds for future generations to come. In addition, please keep posted for the potential of a micro school being hosted here at Ladybug Farm in lieu of my transition out of leading this program.

  • Forest Homeschool

Forest Homeschool is a seasonal homeschool enrichment program for children 7+ that honors the foundational principles of forest schooling while embracing a broader vision - using nature as a dynamic classroom to connect academic learning, with rich, nature rooted experiences. Across multiple seasons, children deepen their connection to the natural world through curiosity, exploration, and hands-on discovery.

  • Summer Camps

Join us as we make our favorite novels come alive with meaningful, outdoor, nature immersed experiences!

  • Mini Monet

The phrase 'en plein air' simply means 'in the open air'. We will embrace the spirit of the 1800's & practice mindful attention to natural light and shadows, all within the natural beauty of the farm & forest. Each session will cover art history in the study of a famous painter, color theory, Waldorf based form drawing, & a guided painting session. Students will paint outdoors with individual easels & watercolor palettes, while also exploring other mediums of interest throughout the year. Each student will receive a watercolor sketch pad to take home for extended practice. All group paintings will be saved for our final gallery celebration in May.

  • Future Homesteaders

    Love building? Aspiring veterinarian?

Learn in an actual farm setting, through hands-on experience! This program is designed for children who are at least 8 years old.

  • Campfire Conversations

Thank you for a year of soul filling, heart healing balm of in-person community, connection & collaboration with nature inspired educators & nature school directors!

This event is transforming into the September 2025 Autumn Equinox women’s ROOTED conference for nature educators. More details to come soon!

    Together, we grow!”

  • Little Farmers

Little Farmers is a guided seasonal program for guardian accompanied little ones who love animals, dirt, gardening and growing things.

This program will be on pause for 2025. We hope to lead it again in the future!
